Network Pentest

A network pentest, simply put, is a test of a company's traditional technology boundaries. Often times performed from an internal and/or external network location. This test is designed to simulate an attacker's attempt to gain access to a company's protected network.

Internal

Typical Pricing:

1-300 IPs = $6,000 - $8,000

300-1500 IPs = $8,000 - $12,000

1500-10,000+ IPs/Domains = $12,000 - $100,000

Internal pentests are one of the most common pentests Lovik Security provides. An internal pentest begins with a device or virtual machine deployment to the client's network. This is typically placed in a user network segment to best simulate a system compromise. From here, a Lovik Security engineer will begin testing the network directly attached to the device.

External

Typical Pricing:

1-5 IPs/Domains = $6,000 - $8,000

6-20 IPs/Domains = $8,000 - $12,000

21-100+ IPs/Domains = $12,000 - $100,000

Although similar in many ways to an internal pentest, an external test differs in one key area; perspective. When attacking from an external source, Lovik Security simulates an attacker with no special privilege's to the clients existing network. In this scenario, Lovik Security engineers are bound to the same restrictions everyone else is on the web. This provides unique insight for how easy or hard it might be for an attacker to compromise systems attached to your network from anywhere in the world.
